Item Categories

Purpose:
This allows you to track sales and current inventory by Category. We have you assign General Ledger Accounts at this stage so when you set up a new Item you select the General Ledger Accounts by selecting the Category the new Item belongs to.

How to:
From the Main Menu; Setup; Item(s); Item Categories.

Close Closes this screen with no save
New User is prompted for a new name. Type in the desired name for a new category and click 'OK'.
Fill in the General Ledger Accounts
Save Saves the information to the Database
Find Allows the user to find existing categories
Update ALL Allows the user to change all the Inventory Item cards with new information that has been entered
Delete Deletes the Current Category.
Print Prints to a Printer
