Item Categories
Purpose:
This allows you to track sales and current inventory by Category. We have
you assign General Ledger Accounts at this stage so when you set up a new Item
you select the General Ledger Accounts by selecting the Category the new Item
belongs to.
How to:
From the Main Menu; Setup; Item(s); Item Categories.
ToolBar
Close | Closes this screen with no save |
New | User is prompted for a new name.
Type in the desired name for a new category and click 'OK'. Fill in the General Ledger Accounts |
Save | Saves the information to the Database |
Find | Allows the user to find existing categories |
Update ALL | Allows the user to change all the Inventory Item cards with new information that has been entered |
Delete | Deletes the Current Category. |
