Whirlwind Software is a family owned and operated business. Bryan has worked in every
single position in a retail appliance
store from the warehouse to sales and office management. In addition to his appliance store experience
he
is a programmer. He brings a unique
skill set to the table. This unique understanding allows him to develop the most integrated, reliable
and
customer friendly software in the
industry. He is a programmer who understands the business so well, that he has written a software
program
to help today's appliance store be able
to run more efficiently on all fronts. Bryan first started working for DeMar Young at Sure Appliance in
Utah. On his first day they had nothing
for him to do. So he watched how everything was done. He noticed that while they had a computer system,
it was not being utilized. There were 3
store locations and when a delivery was needed a store would call their contact at headquarters to
schedule it. Without the use of a computer
program this contact would answer the phone and then run to a delivery board to check to see if the date
was available, then run back to the
phone and confirm yes or no. If the answer was no, they ran back to the board to check on another date.
The process was time consuming
and inefficient. After 3 days of watching this process Bryan approached DeMar with a software solution.
In
1991 he designed a delivery program
where employees could lookup and schedule deliveries. With the delivery program running smoothly Bryan
developed an order entry program. While
these programs made the process more efficient he noticed they would be even better if they could talk
to
each other. This realization motivated
him to develop an inventory lookup screen program, which allowed the programs to communicate with each
other. In 1998 LaMar Young became the
President of Brand Source, putting him in charge of 3200 stores. Watching other store owners doing all
their business on paper and 3x5 cards
LaMar realized that no one had good software. With the Sure Appliance stores running smoothly Bryan
began
to develop the software to take to
other appliance stores. In 2000 his software was piloted at Nampa Appliance owned by Jackie King. They
still use his software today. Since his
first show in 2002 he has been providing top of the line inventory management software to businesses
around the globe. He has developed software
for clients such as Hamilton Appliance, Famous Tates, Baillios Appliance, and Idlers Appliance to name a
few. To date he has never lost a
customer all who have used his software continue to do so today, with the exception of those few who
have
gone out ofbusiness. Bryan’s commitment
to his client’s success drives him to continually pursue improvements. Many of Bryan’s customers seek
his
advice on which new technology they
should use in their stores. There are many “cool and fun” technologies that could actually reduce
productivity. But they are really cool. Bryan
helps his customers
understand which ones to apply and how to make them work for the store to increase productivity,
revenue.
With his hands on experience in retail
appliance he has the ability to design software with the needs of the customer in mind.

Chieloe does the bookkeeping for the company and also
answers customer phone calls, emails, and schedules meetings.
Chieloe helps customers to understand, troubleshoot, and update the software.
Customers satisfaction is her top priority.
